Vodafone MČR National Championship in computer games 2020

Unfortunately, Vodafone MČR National Championship in computer games 2020 had to happen without the organization of a traditional live event at the Brno Exhibition Grounds. Nonetheless this year was exceptional in numerous ways. We have built a unique studio which was dominated by a 23-meter-long LED wall in the premises of the Prima television group. A new national champions in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and PUBG were crowned.

The tournament excelled mainly in the amount of views. The final match in CS: GO was watched by over 210,000 fans of esport and became the most watched Czech esport match in history. In addition to the broadcast aired on the PLAYzone Twitch channel, viewers were able to watch live broadcasts on the Prima COOL Facebook pages, sport.cz and in the HbbTV application on the Prima television channels. Fans were also able to support and cheer for their favorite teams in special rooms created on the ZOOM platform.
